Me

This is probably the fifth blog I’ve registered over the past five years- and it will probably have more entries than all the others combined, mainly because there’s more to push me (read: it’s for a grade) than just my own self-motivation. I’ve always liked to write, and people have told me I’m good at it…I just don’t do it. One of life’s not-so-great mysteries- why do things we like seem like so much work?

My birth given name is Andrew Elsass, though if you hung around with my friends and I for a day you would be convinced otherwise. Someone should do a study on the number of people with the name Andrew that actually go by their first name. I am Elsass, Elsass is me. I often joke about how I should just drop my first and middle names altogether, Brazilian soccer style.

I’m actually somewhat impressed with what I’ve pounded out so far- it’s been a while since I’ve wrote just whatever is going on inside the hat rack above my neck, and not about which 20^th century American idealist author should be included in the curriculum next quarter’s class (why do I care?)

I am a child of the beat. Other than sports, dance music is my number one passion. If my current pursuit of a career in sports doesn’t pan out, and even if it does, I will always dig the fantasy of spinning in the best clubs in the world, making thousands of party people move to me, the glorified boombox.
